NAF posts disaster-class performance as FaZe smash Liquid at IEM Cologne
Liquid have exited IEM Cologne 2025 following a lopsided 2-0 loss to FaZe today. The two map series was a fairly dismal affair from Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek and co. as the team struggled immensely to put on a competitive showing, with Keith "NAF" Markovic in particular posting a career-worst performance on Mirage to start the series.
Mirage saw FaZe start with a 5-1 start to the map on their CT-side before a run of rounds from Liquid helped the team tie up the scoreline to 6-6 at the half. Despite forcing a close first half, FaZe were utterly dominant on their T-side, winning seven rounds in a row to take the map 13-6 as NAF and Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken struggled immensely, posting a collective four kills in the half.
Ancient ended up being an even more dominant performance from FaZe as after Liquid won the first two rounds of the map on their CT-side FaZe would crush all hopes of a third map by winning the next thirteen rounds in a row, utterly smashing Liquid and sending them out of the event with a 2-0 loss.
Liquid's next port of call is the online RES Showdown Fall 2025 event, which is set to start on August 1st.
