Report: BLUEJAYS set to unveil Mongolian rifler laxiee
Dust2.us has learned from multiple sources that BLUEJAYS are set to unveil Mongolian rifler Maks "laxiee" Andryei as the team's fifth, capping off a lengthy rebuild within the German organization that began when they parted ways with the former BOSS core in mid-May.
The signing will see laxiee joins BLUEJAYS after spending a year plying his trade on Akimbo while playing alongside fellow Mongolian transplants Ochirbileg "obi" Shinebaatar and Bishrel "N2o" Tamir. Overall, laxiee has been competing in North America since early 2024 slowly climbing the NA ladder on G3, OMiT, and Akimbo.
In 2025 laxiee thus far boasts a 1.06 rating over 68 while competing in the domestic circuit while recently helping his team to a 9th-10th place finish in ESL Challenger League Season 49 with a 1.10 rating over 30 maps.
BLUEJAYS are expected to face some challenges in integrating laxiee into their lineup as it will be the player's first time speaking on an exclusively English-communicating roster while he is also by far the least experienced player on the team. However, he could be a potential diamond in the rough for Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore and co. based on early results in North America.
Within BLUEJAYS, there is also the unresolved question of Tommy "Axed" Ryan's future as the team's coach as he has yet to be announced. Barring any unexpected developments, Dust2.us expects Axed to be signed by the German organization in short order after filling in for the squad during the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #2.
BLUEJAYS are expected to consist of:
-
Adam "freshie" Paterson
-
Paytyn "junior" Johnson
-
Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore
-
Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney
-
Maks "laxiee" Andryei
-
Tommy "Axed" Ryan (Coach)
-
Patrick "padde" Misiewicz (Analyst)
Like many teams, BLUEJAYS will debut their new roster at Fragadelphia 19 when the $35k LAN kicks off on July 17th.
