Breaking: BLUEJAYS part ways with three in shock move
In a shock announcements, BLUEJAYS have announced their decision to part ways with Keller "SLIGHT" Nilan, Gavin "Fruitcupx" Norman, and Wyatt "snav" Phillippi while retaining Adam "freshie" Paterson as the sole player within the German organization's CS2 division. The ramifications of this change are staggering as it results in BLUEJAYS losing their core and thus all of their VRS points while also completely dismantling the BOSS roster they signed three months ago.
In the announcement, BLUEJAYS announced that their plan is to continue with freshie and build a new roster around him. Due to the VRS system it is highly likely they will aim to sign a new core that will come with VRS points rather than making a new roster from scratch.
While BLUEJAYS did not announce his departure, it is assumed Derek "dare" Brown is no longer part of BLUEJAYS plans as the German organization never signed the player.
At the time of publication it is also unknown if Matt "Warden" Dickens plans on staying with BLUEJAYS as he was omitted from the announcement.
Dust2.us reached out to the organization and players involved in this story but did not hear back ahead of publication.
With three players out of the roster, BLUEJAYS are reduced to the following pieces:
-
Adam "freshie" Paterson
-
Matt "Warden" Dickens (Coach)
