BLAST announces details for 2026 & 2027 circuits

BLAST Open events will increase in 2027

BLAST just released more details regarding their CS2 circuit for 2026 and initial details for their plans for 2027.

BLAST Rivals S1 will be taking place in Fort Worth, Texas at Dickie's Arena from April 27th to May 3rd 2026. The second Rivals host city has yet to be announced, but the tournament will take place from November 9th to November 15th.

Both editions of BLAST Bounty will be hosted in Malta next year, running from January 12th to January 25th and from July 20th to August 2nd, respectively.

The first BLAST Open of the year will take place in a to-be-announced European city, while the second location has not been announced yet. BLAST Open S1 2026 will start on March 16th and conclude on March 29th, while S2 will begin on August 24th and end on September 6th.

Overall, BLAST will be putting up $8.5 million in 2026, with $2.5 million in prize pools, $4 million in team payments, and $2 million in the frequent flyer program. The frequent flyer program will reward teams for continually participating in BLAST events. However, if a team declines an invite from BLAST, they will forfeit all of their frequent flyer tokens for the year and miss out on the minimum $2 million pool.

In 2027, BLAST will host two Bounty events, three Opens, and one Rivals event. The formats will stay the same, except the Rivals tournament will be a full wildcard event.
