Vitality through to BLAST.tv Austin Major finals, surprising no one
The absolute favorites of the Major, Vitality, have locked in a spot in the BLAST.tv Austin Major grand finals, taking down MOUZ 2-1 in a thrilling series to continue their dominant streak of Bo3 wins throughout 2025.
While the series was a close affair, it perhaps felt a bit unsurprising that Vitality topped the series, especially after the team locked down Mirage 13-8. However, the series took an unexpected twist as MOUZ rallied back to secure Inferno 13-4 taking one of Vitality's best maps and forcing the series onto Train.
After a close series, Train ended up being utterly dominant for Vitality as they won their CT-side 10-2 before stopping a minor MOUZ rally to take the map 13-6.
