BLAST announce Rivals Fort Worth event for 2026

During the ongoing BLAST.tv Austin Major playoffs, BLAST have announced plans for a return to Texas in 2026 with a BLAST Rivals event set to take place in Fort Worth in May. The event will take place at the Dickies Arena in the city and will boast eight teams and a $1,000,000 total prize purse for prizepool/participation fees.

BLAST will return to the city after previously holding both Rocket League and Fortnite events in Fort Worth while the nearby Dallas has played host to IEM Dallas for the previous four years.

The event will run from April 29th to May 3rd and will use the regular Rivals format that sees four teams come from the Global VRS and four teams come from the four regional VRS.
