Vitality see off NAVI to reach BLAST.tv Austin Major semifinals
Vitality have advanced to BLAST.tv Austin Major semifinals this Friday, June 20th, following a 2-0 victory over Natus Vincere in the second playoff day.
With that, the undisputed best CS2 team of 2025 are two wins away from crowning their season with the Austin Major trophy.
Mirage: 
Vitality 13-9 NAVI
Mirage was NAVI's map pick, and they had a good chance to win it. However, their T-side didn't bear as many fruits as a result of Vitality's site anchors Robin "ropz" Kool and William "mezii" Merriman keeping their team alive in the first half.
The second half started with a 6-6 tie, but Vitality quickly took the lead as they were nearly unbeaten in gun rounds. Dan "apEX" Madesclaire had some great reads, and every one of his players had an impact.
As one would expect, Mathieu "ZwyOo" Herbaut led the charges and top-fragged with 17 kills, but mezii made the best plays.
Nuke: Vitality 13-11 NAVI
Vitality enjoyed a flying start on Nuke thanks to finding numerous gun rounds on their T-side, but NAVI managed to close the gap at the end thanks to a couple of clutches.
The second half was just as tense, as NAVI started to out-maneuver Vitality's CT side at the end of the game. But heroics from Dan "apEX" Madesclaire and mezii push Vitality over the line.
