regain reaches Crossfire S1 Finals

Crossfire S1 playoffs action has going down over the past couple of weeks. regain has secured their place in the final after defeating Zomblers in the first semifinal.

regain defeated Orion and team mouse before their semifinal showdown with Zomblers. regain secured a clean 2-0 in the semifinal with wins on Train and Ancient.

Train was the more straightforward of the two maps, with regain starting off with a 10-3 lead in the first half before converting the advantage to a 13-5 victory.

Ancient was a closer, but regain still won convincingly. regain held an 8-4 lead at the half, before a back-and-forth second period played to regain's advantage, giving them a 13-8 win.

Eric "Zucar" Zuccaro was the standout player for regain. He registered 44 frags to lead all players in the match, leading regain to a berth in the final.

The second semifinal between Blahaj and Villainous is slated for Tuesday, June 24th at 01:00AM.
