End of an era? NAF hints at possible Liquid exit following Austin Major disaster
Right after Liquid were eliminated from the BLAST.tv Austin Major by MOUZ yesterday, Keith "NAF" Markovic revealed in an interview with BLAST that he could leave the team soon.
"I honestly don't know if I'll be on the team after this event," NAF said. "To me, it doesn't really matter right now. We'll just have to wait and see."

NAF is the longest-standing member on Liquid's roster, having joined the organization in February 2018. He played a significant role in the organization's historic win streak in 2019, which led to Liquid winning numerous events and securing the Intel Grand Slam Season 2.
However, NAF admitted before the Major that he was having a "hard time" finding his space in this new Liquid lineup with Guy "NertZ" Iluz and Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek after a string of unsatisfactory results.
This proved to be true as NAF was by far Liquid's lowest-rated player at the BLAST.tv Austin Major. The Canadian, who has been rock solid in most of his Liquid tenure, averaged only a 0.71 rating in five maps played in Austin.
NAF's latest interview is yet another strong sign that things have soured up in the Liquid camp. Before the do-or-die match against MOUZ, Russell "Twistzz" Van Dulken said that the team was feeling "a bit exhausted" from the boot camp.
In the interview with BLAST, NAF explained why the boot camp was so demanding.
"Just long hours, playing, travelling, we were trying to cover as much as we can in the time we had and do a bunch of things as much as possible," NAF said.
"Maybe it was a little too much, but at the end of the day we tried our best and it's all just about how we performed at the event and how we feel here, unfortunately, it just wasn't our time here."
Liquid will head into the player break and most likely reevaluate their roster for the second half of 2025.
