Lynn Vision want even more wins at the Major

C4LLM3SU3: "We're trying to break TYLOO's record in 2018"

Lynn Vision could make history on Stage Three.

Lynn Vision have done the unthinkable and reached Stage Three of the BLAST.tv Austin Major after beating B8 yesterday, June 10th. But, even though they feel there's no pressure going forward, Su "C4LLM3SU3" Qihao said in a quick interview with Dust2.us' Editor-in-Chief Jeffrey "Mnmzzz" Moore that they want to break TYLOO's record in 2018.

That year, TYLOO won one BO1 in the FACEIT London Major's New Legends Stage, the equivalent of Stage Three in the Austin Major. Lynn Vision want to beat their rival and win two BO1s, C4LLM3SU3 said.

You can find the entire interview below in either text or video form. All questions and answers have been slightly edited for clarity.

How are you feeling about locking in Stage Three?

Oh, we're super surprised and very happy about it. Like I said in the previous interview, we played against Falcons and then beat them, it's like the whole world line just changed, I guess, it's all planned.

I'm pretty sure now you've locked in Asia another spot in the Budapest Major. After talking about how China has that untapped potential, how does it feel to give another spot potentially back to China?

I guess everyone's happy about this, to give more teams more opportunities to get involved in these worldwide tournaments, and I give more chances to younger people.

I have to ask you about EmiliaQAQ, as he's been playing incredibly well and showcasing an insane personality on stage, not to mention that he's made friends with all the Brazilians. What's it like having that kind of guy on the server with you?

[chuckles] Of course, having that much positive energy is always good for our team, even though we were on another streak. But if you just win one round back, his energy just brings us all back, basically. I'm very happy to have him on the team.

I don't think many people knew Lynn Vision ahead of the Major, and now we've seen the Brazilians fall in love with you, and the Americans are starting to love you, too. Have you been receiving any unexpected forms of support from the community? Could you imagine kind of having everyone rallying behind this Chinese team you're on?

To be honest, not really. I'm only getting support from my fans, the fan groups. I think the environment is the same around the world. If you win the match, you get good commets, but if you lose it, you're getting shit talked, basically. When we lost yesterday [to paiN], there's nothing we can do about it. We l; lost pretty badly and then like, half of the community was discriminating against us, just kidding. [chuckles]

Now you're going to Stage Three, where you're taking out some of the best teams in the world. Things didn't go well back at IEM Dallas, but now that you have all these matches and victories under your belt, do you feel you can show us something special on Stage Three?

I guess we're not going to have that much pressure going towards Stage Three because we've already made history. We're trying to break TYLOO's record in 2018, which is winning two BO1s in Stage Three, and then we'll see. We're not going to have that much pressure anymore, so we're just going to do whatever we want.

Do you have anything to say to our Chinese viewers?

Just stop shit talking us, we're trying our best. [chuckles]
