C4LLM3SU3 and Lynn Vision just keep on surprising

C4LLM3SU3 after smashing Falcons: "Chinese teams are super underestimated"

He thinks that more "super teams" will come from China if they get more slots at the next Major.

The biggest upset of the entire BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 happened yesterday as Lynn Vision took down the almighty Falcons in the 0-1 match of Stage Two.

It was a dominant win, and Su "C4LLM3SU3" Qihao had lots of praise for their head coach Dai "Gum" Yifei. "He did lots of paperwork, and studied the demos in a very short time," C4LLM3SU3 said in a quick post-match interview with Dust2.us' Editor-in-Chief Jeffrey "Mnmzzz" Moore.

The full interview can be found below on YouTube or in text form below. All questions and answers below have been slightly edited for length and clarity.

I'm with C4LLM3SU3 after an absolutely insane win over Falcons. You guys looked amazing on the CT side. How are you feeling right now?

We didn't expect this result, but we are super happy with it. Shout out to the coach, he did lots of paperwork, and studied the demos in a very short time. He knows how the team plays, and I was very surprised, to be honest.

You mentioned all this prep, but did you really expect it to go as perfectly as it did?

No, not really. In our first game, our performance was kind of disappointing. But in the game we just played, it acted very surprised to us.

This is a renaissance for the Chinese scene at Majors, as both Lynn Vision and TYLOO are doing amazing things. Do you think this is a historic moment for the Chinese scene?

Yeah, our followers are super crazy right now, both for us and TYLOO. I don't know why both teams are performing over our expectations right now, it's probably because of the chemistry here and lots of heart from the younger players. They're very excited about it.

Whereas you're very calm and collected, you have EmiliaQAQ bringing in a massive energy, he's jumping on the table and yelling. Does it help keep you hyped and ready for matches?

Yeah, of course. The aggressive or hyped-up movements always bring up our emotions. But for me, I'm calm because I don't want anything to influence my play. But anyway, having positive energies is always good.

You said you're coming into this event as an underdog, but now with this win under your belt, does this kind of reframe the entire tournament for you? Do you now feel renewed confidence in being able to push on to Stage Three?

Now that we have beaten Falcons [chuckles], of course, we're going to have some new thoughts about getting through Stage Two, but personally, I think it's just a small possibility.

Asia has always been down to just two slots at the Major, but if we had into the next Major with more spots, do you think we're going to see even more impressive Asian teams come forward? Are there more good teams coming up in the Chinese scene?

Yeah, definitely. I think the Chinese teams are super underestimated in the worldwide region. I think the reason why we can't get more spots is that there are fewer S-tier tournaments or VRS tournaments hosted in China. So, the teams just don't have opportunities to show up to the world. I think that's the biggest problem. But if we get more slots for the Chinese region, of course, there are going to be more star teams from China.
