
Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series 2 Day 1 Recap: BOSS, BLUEJAYS start strong
The opening day for Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series 2 concluded yesterday, with four best-of-three series to kick off the Swiss Stage. The theme of the day was newly signed or reformed rosters comfortably winning their openers.
BOSS 2-0 Subtick 
The newly reformed BOSS roster took care of business against Subtick, taking Mirage 13-6 and Train 13-3. Wyatt "snav" Phillippi was electric, especially on Train, notching 36 kills against only 16 deaths in the series.

LAG, made up of the newly signed Vagrants roster, also made short work of their opponents, winning 13-5 on Dust2 and 13-6 on Train. LAG completely dominated the scoreboard.

BLUEJAYS 2-0 Ghost 
BLUEJAYS, fresh off signing the former Nouns core, absolutely dominated Ghost, pulling off the 13-0 on Dust2 and nearly doing the same on Nuke, settling for a 13-1 win. Paytyn "junior" Johnson put on a performance Complexity wish they saw at the Major, posting a 2.14 rating across the series.

Marca Registrada 2-1 SUPER EVIL GANG 
Marca Registrada and SUPER EVIL GANG finally gave us a competitive series. Marca Registrada struck first on Anubis, winning 13-8, but SUPER EVIL GANG answered back on Train, winning 13-6. The series was decided on Dust2, where Marca Registrada took the lead and never looked back, winning 13-7.

All four winning teams will move on to the 1-0 pool, while the losers fall to the 0-1 pool. Daaku and anything else have both withdrawn at the event, so Getting Info and Akimbo will both receive forfeit byes and move up to the 1-0 pool.
