Per the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series rulebook, the tournament organizer reserves the right to bar competitors from its competitions for serious infractions on other platforms in order to protect the integrity of its competitions.
4.14 Banned Players and Ban Policy
The Dust2.us Eagle Master Series reserves the right to rule ineligible players who are currently banned or otherwise sanctioned by the ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), Gamers Club, the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC), BLAST, or other major tournaments organizers at its sole discretion for serious infractions and/or integrity violations and independently rule ineligible players for these violations at its sole discretion. Serious infractions and/or integrity violations include but not limited to: Cheating, Match Fixing, Betting Offenses, and Unsportsmanlike Conduct.
For avoidance of doubt, The Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series reserves these rights for both teams competing in the Main Event as well as teams competing in the Open Qualifiers for the Main Event.
These bans come as a result of a stringent investigation by Dust2.us based on tips sent to the tournament organizer from members of the community. A later outright admission of guilt by a guilty party presented Dust2.us with the opportunity to move forward with sanctions mere weeks after first being made aware of the integrity breaches.
The Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series hopes these bans send a strong message that there are consequences for materially benefiting from serious breaches of competitive integrity in the North American scene.
Players have the right to appeal their bans by contacting Head Admin Jeffrey "Mnmzzz" Moore via email at [email protected].
