Dust2.us Eagle Masters announce ban reductions for two individuals

The Eagle Masters Series will be reducing the bans of calamity and taggy.

The Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series hereby announces that the following players have submitted successful appeals regarding their bans from the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series and have thus had their bans adjusted:

  • Canada Stanley "calamity" Chiu

  • United States Taggert "taggy" Baker

Following diligent consideration of the relevant facts, these individuals will have their bans reduced from a period of one year (2025-05-27 to 2026-05-27) to three months (2025-05-27 to 2025-08-27) and will thus be able to compete once again starting with the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #4.

Per the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series rulebook, the tournament organizer reserves the right to consider appeals from banned players and rule on them at its sole discretion:

2.2 Compliance

By participating in the tournament, players accept with no reservations all of the above and below mentioned regulations and that any decision made by the Tournament Officials during the tournament may at any time supersede these regulations.

Any concerns regarding the tournament integrity, including (but not limited to) suspected cheating, match fixing, account sharing, etc may be submitted to [email protected] in his role as Head Admin of the event series.

Additionally, appeals for bans regarding the above conduct may be sent to [email protected] in his role as Head Admin of the event series for consideration at his sole judgment.

These two players were banned due to "Playing with a Cheater on a Third-Party Platform" for playing with Christopher "aleph" Froden, a banned individual on the FACEIT platform.

Upon receiving appeals from the two individuals, tournament administration reviewed the facts of their ban, interviewed a number of current and former teammates, and received numerous positive character witness statements, leading to the reduction of their bans.

By retaining short-term bans, the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series reiterates its strong stance against integrity violations in the North American scene with the hope of discouraging foul play within its circuit.
