s1mple and FaZe get revenge over HEROIC at BLAST.tv Austin Major
FaZe got the better of HEROIC at the BLAST.tv Austin Major Stage Two debut, adding yet another chapter to what has been a fun rivalry to follow.
In case you missed it, HEROIC and FaZe have been beefing in the past few weeks. It all started after Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev called HEROIC players "fucking bots" after losing to them at IEM Dallas. Simon "yxngstxr" Boije provoked s1mple back in an interview with Dust2.us, but this time around, s1mple and FaZe prevailed.
Unfortunate for HEROIC and yxngstxr, all FaZe players were hitting their shots, and they seemingly knew what HEROIC had prepared for their T-side.
Round after round, Finn "karrigan" Andersen provoked HEROIC, and FaZe won the first half by 10-2.
HEROIC even won the second pistol, but a Deagle collateral from David "frozen" Čerňanský shut down their retake in the following round, and ran away with a quick victory afterward.
frozen top fragged for FaZe with 21 kills, but every FaZe player did their part in this dominant victory.
