CCT reveals first NA Season 3 tournament details

CCT has announced the details for their first NA tournament in their third season of competition. Twelve teams will be invited to the event using the North American subfilter of the Valve Regional Standings.

The top four teams that accept their invitations will be placed directly in the single-elimination Main Event. The other eight teams will go into a GSL group stage that is split into two groups of four teams each. From there, four teams will move on to the Main event.

Of the eight teams in the group stage, two of them will be wildcard invites, teams who would not get an invitation based on ranking but have a core that has been in the top twelve in the last six months or a team that has won an equal or lesser tiered event.

The online event will run from August 7th to August 15th, and the winner will take home $5,000 of the $10,000 prize pool.
