Wildcard were dominated in the final maps of their series against B8

vinS: "B8 were totally ape style, they were better"

vinS says they were totally outplayed by an extremely aggressive B8.

In a short interview with Dust2.us' Jeffrey "Mnmzzz" Moore, Wildcard's head coach coach Vincent "vinS" Jozefiak explained the team's loss to B8 while discussing the Ukrainian squad's extremely aggressive playstyle against them. Despite this punishing loss, vinS also said he is still confident in his team's ability to make it to Stage Two.

A tough way to lose versus B8 with a blowout on Inferno to end the series. What do you think went wrong for Wildcard today?

We had a very bad day. We didn't remember what we are doing tactically, we are doing bad pathing, and we forgot how to play. Then on Inferno they got momentum and just ran at us.

Dust2 was the key [moment] where they got the momentum and they continued the momentum on Inferno. They were just running out at us and normally we should just kill them but they were just shooting better and they were a like totally "ape" style. They were better.

Ape style?

Yeah like they were just jumping, shooting, normally they aren't playing like that to be honest, but against us that was a good idea to play like that because they got momentum and were shooting harder than us and just overrun us.

Is the team still confident in making their way through to Stage Two in their next two attempts?

Yeah for sure, today I felt like it was a really bad day and we played really bad and doing things that we do not normally do and playing that bad. I hope we come back tomorrow and play much better.

What are the priorities for tonight ahead of your match on Thursday?

Probably we'll talk about what we did bad today and just a reminder about how we play normally. Also we have to talk about how if an opponent gets momentum like this again and plays like this how to counter that style.

Wildcard will look to rally in round four tomorrow.
