Liquid and Complexity claim invites to IEM Cologne 2025

ESL has released the team list for IEM Cologne, the first tier one tournament to take place after the summer player break. IEM Cologne will run from July 23rd to August 3rd in Germany.

Each of the top 24 teams in the Global Valve Regional Standings accepted their invite to IEM Cologne, arguably the biggest non-Major event of the year. Liquid and Complexity will be the two NA orgs vying for glory in the Cathedral of Counter-Strike.

The top eight teams will be slotted into Stage 2, which is the second group stage before playoffs. The rest will be put into Stage 1 and have an additional hurdle to face before the playoffs. Both group stages will feature a double-elimination best-of-three bracket. The playoffs will be a best-of-three single-elimination brawl until the best-of-five final.
