SlooKy offers equally lame 'excuse' for cheating: "Several teams in the ECL play with cheats... with such thoughts I started playing with a cheat"
The FACEIT ban wave that took place on May 27th has continued to pay dividends as last night Kiryl "SlooKy" Misiukevich became the latest NA cheater to try his hand at writing a "manifesto"... and this one is a doozy. SlooKy's post on TextSaver comes in at a massive 1,155 words and offers a meandering look at why he decided to cheat, filled with the same excuses that come when a player is caught red-handed cheating.

SlooKy's post begins with a retelling of his early career in his native Belarus, remarking how he feels his career was derailed due to cheaters in the European scene (ironic) despite his best efforts. These horrible, terrible cheaters would lead SlooKy to take a break from competition later that year, with SlooKy feeling the need to let us know he got laid during this time (alrighty then?) before deciding to return to Counter-Strike in 2020.
In a staggering decision, SlooKY then goes on to admit that he became involved in "dark business" in 2021, seemingly admitting to matchfixing in the European scene. After having his fill of that, SlooKy apparently decided to move to North America in 2023, seemingly planning on taking the game totally seriously and professionally this time (I promise).
However, much like Christopher "aleph" Froden, SlooKy says in his post that he grew disenchanted with the number of cheaters in the NA scene and decided to rectify that situation by... also cheating. SlooKy then wraps up his statement with a fairly mediocre apology to everyone he cheated against while also offering an internet tough guy act towards other cheaters in the scene, telling them to "suck [his] dick."
Unlike aleph's post, SlooKy did not find much of an audience for his manifesto, nor were people convinced by an ironic tale of cheating to... get back at a scene full of cheaters?
Oh well, see you in 2027 I suppose.
