
NA Revival Series reverts to classic single-elimination format
The PrizePicks NA Revival Series will revert to its classic single-elimination format beginning in July, in accordance with Valve tournament rules. Dust2.us has also confirmed that the previously announced May addition of the tournament has been canceled.
Per the announcement from Complexity today, best-of-ones and the GSL group stage as a whole are being removed, reverting Revival Series back to the eight-team single-elimination bracket, consisting solely of best-of-three matches. Best-of-ones and a group stage were utilized for NA Revival Series 6 this past month, which was won by NRG.
Going forward, the eight participating teams will consist of six invited teams alongside two that qualify via the Open Qualifiers. The schedule for each Revival Series will feature Open Qualifier play on Friday, all four quarterfinals days taking place on Saturday, and both semifinals and the grand final on Sunday.
Here are the tentative dates/weekends for PrizePicks NA Revival Series:

The dates for the November and December NA Revival Series have not been determined.
