HLTV Confirmed hosts predict Major visa issues
During a recent episode of HLTV confirmed, where the hosts Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill, Zvonimir "Professeur", and Milan "Striker" Švejda discussed PGL Astana, roster move rumors, and potential visa issues for the upcoming BLAST.tv Austin Major.
In a segment titled "What are the Odds?" the hosts give a percentage guess as to the likelihood of something happening.
This episode's question was this: "What are the odds of at least five players missing the major due to visa issues?"
The three hosts gave these responses:
SPUNJ: 85%
Striker: 60%
Professeur: 90%
The HLTV crew is clearly worried about the possibility of many players missing the major, as notably happened during the previous American Major in Boston in 2018, when 100 Thieves had to pull out of the event due to visa issues.
This could open up a way for Astralis to qualify for the Major as they are the highest-ranked team to miss out on the event.
Complexity is also facing a visa issue as their AWPer, Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli, will likely miss the Texas event, according to their GM Graham "Messioso" Pitt.
