Craig Levine steps down as co-CEO of ESL Faceit Group
EFG and Craig Levine announced on LinkedIn two days ago that Levine will be leaving his role as co-CEO of the company.
ESL Faceit Group announced in the same post that Levine's counterpart, Niccolo Maisto, will become the sole CEO of the company.
Maisto co-founded ESEA and has been in his co-CEO role for the past three years after previously serving as the co-CEO of ESL from 2020 to 2022.
EFG said this about their future in their LinkedIn post:
We are enthusiastic about this next chapter and remain steadfast in our strategy of being the leading global esports company.
They also mentioned that Levine will stay onboard in an advisory role until the end of the year to provide a smooth transition for Maisto as he becomes the company's only CEO.
In his personal LinkedIn post, Levine did not disclose what his future may hold after the end of the year.
