WIldcard Academy signs 17-year-old rifler from Ukraine
On May 3rd, Wildcard Academy announced new fifth in the form of Anton "doni" Savienkov, a 17-year-old Ukrainian rifler. They were down to just four players since April 24th when Slovak IGL Michal "T4gg3D" Vrza left the roster and retired from pro play.
Before being recruited to Wildcard Academy, doni was last seen playing for NEVERMORE, a Ukrainian team that qualified for ESL Challenger League Season 50 via ESEA Advanced Season 52 Europe in March. doni averaged a 1.11 HLTV rating in 20 maps played in that tournament. He has just 30 maps under his belt in HLTV, which makes him the least experienced player in Wildcard Academy's roster.
Following T4gg3D's departure, Sebastian "fr3nd" Kuśmierz has also taken over IGL duties on the team, with the Polish AWPer being one of the more experienced pieces on the team.
The Wildcard Academy roster looks as follows:
-
Leo "Wonder" Wänlund
-
Sebastian "fr3nd" Kuśmierz
-
Tiago "TMKj" Martins
-
Simon "sSen" Iversen
-
Anton "doni" Savienkov
-
Łukasz "splawik" Jahns (Coach)
