Spirit trounce Wildcard in BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 1 quarterfinals
Spirit moved past Wildcard comfortably this Friday, May 2nd, in the quarterfinals of BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 1 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
This ends Wildcard's campaign in the tournament. They lost to Spirit and Vitality, and won against paiN. It was always going to be rough having to play against such great teams like Vitality and Spirit, but these matches could help them down the line.
Anubis: 
Spirit 13-7 Wildcard 
Spirit made things rough for Wildcard as they won eight rounds in a row on the CT side during the first half. They carried an 8-4 advantage for the second half, and didn't have trouble closing it out on the T side, which is the strongest side of Anubis.
Dmitriy "sh1ro" Sokolov had a hell of a series as he grabbed 20 kills and got a 112.8 ADR.
Dust2: Spirit 13-2 Wildcard
The series moved to Spirit's playground, and they simply humbled Wildcard in the first half thanks to a nearly flawless T side (11-1). This time around, Danil "donk" Kryshkovets ran the show and finished with 23 frags, helping Spirit to secure a comfortable victory.

With this win over Wildcard, Spirit moved on to the semifinals, where they'll play Vitality tomorrow, May 3rd.
Vitality are enjoying a 23-match win streak and will surpass Liquid's record should they beat Spirit.
