SUPER EVIL GANG part ways with two
Yesterday SUPER EVIL GANG announced the departures of Talen "Talen" M. and Misha "Misha" Ivanov from the team's ranks, with Talen set to retire from competition while Misha will also be taking a break from competition. The change to SUPER EVIL GANG's competition comes immediately after the team's return from Fragadelphia x LVL UP EXPO Vegas this weekend, which saw the team make playoffs before being felled by Getting Info in the first round of playoffs.
The result at FRAG was a decent bookend to what has been a poor year for SUPER EVIL GANG after leaving Alter Iron in early February. The team have cut a relatively unimpressive form, finishing ESL Challenger League Season 49 with an 8-20 record while narrowly making Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series 1 playoffs with a 3-2 record in the Swiss Stage before eliminated by Fisher College.
Dust2.us understands that Talen's retirement was sometime in the making, with the 28-year-old IGL looking to focus on other things in his life. Meanwhile, Misha is expected to take a far shorter break and should hopefully be back in the mix soon.
SUPER EVIL GANG are now:
-
Aidan clipzera S.
-
Caden "arias" Allison
-
Connor "flow" M.
-
Chris "Jeebs" DeSantis (Coach)
SUPER EVIL GANG are signed up for the NA Revival Series May 2025 qualifier this week, but it remains to be seen if they will have a new roster in place when it starts tomorrow on May 2nd.
