Nouns breeze past Bad News Capybaras in Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series 1 Quarterfinals
Nouns and Bad News Capybaras faced off in the second quarterfinal matchup in the first edition of Dust2.us Eagle Masters. Nouns showed their class to move one step closer to the finals.
Nouns chose Dust2 as the first map of the series and showed why as they started off the game with an 11-1 advantage on their T side. Star AWPer Paytyn "junior" Johnson ended the map with a team-leading 16 frags to guide Nouns to a 13-2 win on D2.
Bad News Capybaras selected Mirage, but did not get off to the start they would have hoped for. Nouns took the advantage on the CT side 9-3 to put the series all but past BNC. Nouns gave up the first five rounds of the second half but recovered to win the next four and take the series 13-8. Jason "Peeping" Cornwell went 26-13 to lead Nouns on Mirage.
