COL failed to replicate the form they showed at PGL Bucharest

Complexity eliminated by GamerLegion at IEM Melbourne 2025

All three maps were needed in the series.

Complexity needed to win two series in a row to make the playoffs in Melbourne, but struggled and fell at the first hurdle against GamerLegion.

Complexity chose Train to begin the series. GamerLegion began with a hot CT side, jumping ahead 9-3 to take full control of the first map. Complexity brought the score to 9-8, but Fredrik "REZ" Sterner's 27-13 performance was too much to overcome. GamerLegion ended up stealing COL's map 13-9.

Things were looking grim for the North Americans as the series shifted to GamerLegion's pick of Ancient. Complexity chose to start as Ts and took an 8-4 lead into the second half. After the interval, COL comfortably closed out the map 13-5 behind IGL Johnny "JT" Theodosiou's map-high 18 frags.

The decisive map was Nuke, and GamerLegion remained composed, starting their CT side with a 9-3 advantage. The Europeans sent COL packing, surrendering just one round in the second half to take the map 13-4. Oldřich "PR" Nový dropped 21 frags to propel GamerLegion to victory against Complexity.
