Complexity send paiN packing from IEM Melbourne 2025
Complexity have survived their first elimination series at IEM Melbourne 2025 as they comfortably beat paiN on April 21st.
The Brazilians' head coach, Henrique "rikz" Waku, stood in for IGL Rodrigo "biguzera" Bittencourt in Australia, which caused all sorts of problems for them.
Train:
Complexity 13-2 paiN
Complexity kept their Train win streak going off the back of an impressive T-side in the first half. Having secured 10 rounds on the offense, they left no room for paiN to come back in the second half. Danny "Cxzi" Strzelczyk was the name of the game as he dropped 18 kills in just 15 rounds.
Complexity now hold a respectable 9-0 record on Train since losing the map to Eternal Fire (now Aurora) in January.
Anubis:
Complexity 13-6 paiN
The series headed to Anubis, which has also been a good map for Complexity since March. And the Americans kicked off the map in style thanks to a Michael "Grim" Wince ace.
paiN put up more of a fight on Anubis than Train, but Complexity had a nearly flawless CT-side in the second half and closed out the series.
Complexity must win two more series in the lower bracket to make the playoffs. They'll play GamerLegion tonight 09:30PM, and should they win, they'll face the winner of FaZe v. 3DMAX for a spot in the IEM Melbourne playoffs.
