COL's IGL and sniper combatted travel difficulties to make it to Melbourne

Complexity complete insane 47 hour travel day for IEM Melbourne

American travel laws made the journey especially difficult.

In preparation for IEM Melbourne 2025, Johnny "JT" Theodosiou and Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli endured a hellish trip to make the Australian event.

Graham "messioso" Pitt explained in a post on X that the Complexity players in question could not travel through the United States using their P1 visa, so they had to go the long way around the globe from Mexico.

The two COL players went from Mexico to Madrid, where they had a nine-hour layover in Spain. The pair then took off for Dubai where they had an hour and a half layover. The next leg of the trip would be the final one; hallzerk and JT made it to Melbourne in just under 48 hours.

Complexity didn't appear to let the jetlag affect them, but still fell short against The MongolZ in their opening game down under.

The North American majority will continue their Australian campaign against paiN tonight at 09:30PM. COL will need to win three matches in a row to qualify for the playoffs.

Complexity was slated to participate at FRAG Vegas this upcoming weekend, but pulled out due to the scheduling conflict with IEM Melbourne after they were called in to replace Spirit in Australia.
