Strife sweep Volted to win Fragadelpia 16: Denver
The final day of competition sees Strife complete their sweep of Fragadelphia 16: Denver and walk home with the championship as well as the lions share of the $5,000 prize pool.
In round 4 of the lower bracket we saw Peekers face off against Fourth Quarter for a 3rd place spot and a guaranteed part of the prize money. The match began with the teams trading wins on each others map picks, going to an Inferno decider. Inferno saw Fourth Quarter come back from a 5-10 scoreline on their CT-side to take the map 16-14 and take Arya "arya" Hekmat's men out of contention for the title.

Over in the upper bracket final Strife would continue showing their form in the event against Volted. Strife began by taking their opponent's map pick of Mirage in a tightly contested game 16-14, and followed it with a strong recovery on the CT-side of their map pick, Nuke. Strife held Volted to just 1 T-side round while winning 10 CT-rounds, sending the latter to face off against Fourth Quarter in the lower bracket final.

Volted and Fourth Quarter would begin by trading map picks. Fourth Quarter barely escaped a late T-sided rally by Volted to take Vertigo 16-14. On Inferno, Volted would put together a strong team effort on their way to a 16-11 victory, with all players finishing the map having between 18 and 20 frags. Fourth Quarter were completely routed on the decider, Nuke, allowing their opponents to win nine unanswered T rounds before finally getting one on the board. Volted would win another two rounds, making the score 11-4 before the half-time switch, and proceeded to shut out Fourth Quarter on the CT-side, winning 16-4.

The grand final would see Strife run into Volted once again, in a rematch of the upper bracket final. Strife started with a 1-0 map advantage going into the series due to their coming from the upper bracket. Once again, the first map was Mirage, and once again, Strife would take it, though this time in a more comfortable fashion 16-11.
Unlike in the upper bracket final Nuke would be tightly contested and go to overtime. Neither side was able to put together a strong CT performance on a map which traditionally favours that side. Strife would rally late into the second half, surviving 3 Volted map points to take the map into overtime. Strife would continue their CT momentum into overtime, winning four rounds in a row on their way to the title.

David "J0LZ" Jolin would continue his impressive form throughout the event in this series, dropping 31 kills with 121.6 ADR on Mirage as well as 30 kills with 92.6 ADR on Nuke. On Volted, Khizar "MoMo" Rehman would recover from having a terrible first series against Strife to being the the top performer on his team in this grand final, sporting 56 kills, 47 deaths, and 100.1 ADR througout the series.
Strife will be looking to take this momentum forward as they get ready to fight for their spot in ESEA Premier at the ESEA S39 Relegation tournament beginning on December 15.
