Kinship, Grazur, and Supernova sign new rosters; SKDC and Fine Wine make changes

Some of the division's top teams have found new homes, while others have made changes this week.

Another week has come and gone in ESEA Advanced Season 34, with Kinship, Kinship Ghost, Grazur, Supernova, SKDC, and Fine Wine being some of the division's notable teams to make changes this week.

Starting the roundup with Kinship, on May 10th they parted ways with their long-time roster, promoting tertiary team Kinship Ghost to take their place. For eagle-eyed readers, Kinship Ghost were originally known as Brazen before being signed by Kinship on April 29th; albeit having gone through a number of roster changes since then.

As such, Kinship are now:

  • United States Koby "kobruh" Higgs
  • United States Spencer "Pugg" Moore
  • United States Connor "chop" Sullivan
  • United States "VEIN"
  • United States Sean "naes" Fontaine

Kinship are currently in an eight-way tie for third with a 5-1 record.

Kinship's former roster were not without an organization for long, as Grazur announced their acquisition on May 14th. This marks Grazur's second lineup this season as their previous team disbanded after only one match.

Under a new roof, Grazur's lineup is:

  • United States Max "SolGoat" Wallace
  • United States Kyle "1Kyle" Kaiser
  • United States Max "Makzwell" Sparrey
  • United States Dalton "doltn" Ehlers
  • United States Drew "Drewtheshrew" Lamb

Grazur are currently in the middle of the division with a 3-3 record.

After a strong start to the season, COVID-5 have also found a new home, being signed by Supernova on May 10th. Additionally, they replaced Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney with George "Powerzz" Yaede on May 15th, with the latter having just been replaced by David "Sneaky" Polster on Under 21.

Supernova currently feature:

  • United States Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk
  • United States Bobby "stamina" Eitrem
  • United States Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield
  • Canada Paul "aris" Wilson
  • United States George "Powerzz" Yaede

Supernova, like Kinship, are currently tied for third place with a 5-1 record.

SKDC have also seen changes, with Blake "Blakers" Reynolds being replaced by Zander "FIEND" Bates on May 6th. Gene "ayjin" Krivachek told Dust2.us that Blakers was replaced as a result of his return on May 1st, which created a role redundancy and a need for an AWPer.

With this change, SKDC are now:

  • Canada Kyle "OCEAN" O'Brien
  • United States Tony "aSauce" Guardia
  • United States Jack "micro" Ryan
  • United States Gene "ayjin" Krivachek
  • United States Zander "FIEND" Bates
  • Canada Justin "Waddep" Letendre (Coach)

SKDC are another squad caught in the eight-way tie for third with a 5-1 record.

To round off the list of notable changes, Fine Wine have bolstered their ranks with another retired player in the form of Andrew "Irukandji" Timmerman. Irukandji was last seen coaching Cloud9 in mid-2016 before retiring from CS:GO.

With this, Fine Wine's expansive roster now features:

  • United States Josh "Wade" Wade
  • United States Mike "Pho" Panza
  • United States Arya "arya" Hekmat
  • United States Abraham "abE" Fazli
  • United States Francis "kiko" Lao
  • United States Paul "n2g" Lao
  • United States Andrew "Irukandji" Timmerman

Fine Wine's eight-man roster have continued to struggle in Advanced, with the team currently sitting towards the bottom of the division with a 1-5 record.
