One of Under 21's stand-out stars has returned to the fold ahead of week four

Under 21 replace Powerzz with Sneaky

The original Under 21 member has reunited with his former teammates after a brief period focusing on VALORANT.

Under 21 have replaced George "Powerzz" Yaede with David "Sneaky" Polster, who returns to the lineup after having been an original member of the team.

Powerzz's departure follows an underwhelming start to ESEA MDL Season 34 for the player, averaging a 0.87 rating over five maps.

As for Sneaky, he was one of the breakout stars of Under 21 last season, helping the team to a fourth place finish with a 1.21 rating over the course of 28 maps.

Dust2.us reached out to the team's manager Huthaifa "blitzz" Khan about the move, who  said the following:

Sneaky was ready to start playing again. Fortunately, him re-joining the team was a clearly net positive for us. Unfortunately, that meant someone needed to be replaced. Ultimately the decision was made by the team to replace Powerzz. [The decision on who to replace] was between Powerzz and SPAMMER, which he is aware of.

The way it was handled wasn't smooth unfortunately and I'll be honest in saying Powerzz wasn't at fault with the way things went down. We're all still on good terms, though things are a little fresh, naturally.

Moving forward both Sneaky and Spammer will be handling IGL responsibilities jointly.

With Sneaky back on the team, Under 21 are now:

  • United States Brendan "Bwills" Williams
  • Canada Justin "FaNg" Coakley
  • United States Ezekiel "KmZ" Hughes
  • United States Bilal "SPAMMER" Ali
  • United States David "Sneaky" Polster
  • United States Max "TR1LL-" Kesselhaut (Coach)
  • Canada Huthaifa "blitzz" Khan (Manager)

Under 21 currently hold a 3-2 record in MDL, and will look to climb the standings next week with a match against Infinity set for May 19th at 10 PM EDT.

Update: Dust2.us was told after the publication this article that Anhduy "nguyen" Nguyen has left Under 21 and is now coaching Keep the Comms Up.

As such, Keep the Comms Up are now:

  • Canada Jonah "JonahP" Pulice
  • United States Trevor "FrostayK" Bandle
  • Canada Sterling "sterling" Allard
  • United States Nick "zeptic" Kaoud
  • Canada Marian "tyfoon" Lesnic
  • United States Anhduy "nguyen" Nguyen (Coach)
  • United States Daniel "picky" Milazzo (Substitute)

Back from the dark side (Valorant). I wonder how many others will return to CS.

I hope that some of them at least take another look at CS, if things go awry and plans don’t work out in Valorant.

Most of them are paycheck hunters. They didn't go because Valorant is such a great game.

And theres nothing wrong with that. Their efforts in CSGO are never going to pay off because NA would rather take players overseas than try one of them out. And NA has no ingame leaders and NA has no intention of giving any of these MDL ingame leaders a shout.
