ben1337 joins New England Whalers
After parting ways with Daniel "roca" Gustaferri yesterday, New England Whalers have returned to full strength with the addition of Ben "ben1337" Smith.
ben1337 was last seen playing with Chaos, spending four months with the lineup before being sidelined in favor of Hunter "SicK" Mims.
The move reunites ben1337 with Josh "PwnAlone" Pigue, with the duo having played together on Win Scrims Not Matches and Party Astronauts.
Dust2.us reached out to Jonathan "djay" Dallal for comment about the move:
We decided on ben1337 after a suggestion from PwnAlone, we felt as though we were lacking leadership and morale was dwindling with players considering VALORANT as an option over CS:GO.
With ben1337 coming in I will be taking a step back from IGL'ing and he'll be filling the role which has already been a nice change of pace. He brings a lot of experience with him from his time on Chaos, which has already helped in guiding us towards what we feel is the right direction.
With the addition of ben1337, New England Whalers are now:

New England Whalers are currently in fifth place in ESEA MDL Season 34 with a 3-0 record. The team will be looking to keep up their perfect record against Polar Ace on May 20th at 10 PM EDT.
