RBG win Bitmo Bash over Oceanus
RBG have won Divine's $500 Bitmo Bash. The North American squad carried their success from the open qualifier over to their matches against the invited teams, winning the event with a 2-0 sweep over Oceanus in the grand final.
The ESEA Advanced side beat West Coast Fraggers in the best-of-one opening round, then Super Nova in their quarterfinal, and Polar Ace South in the semifinals to secure a grand finals berth.
Oceanus' path to the grand final match against RBG included besting Taperne in the opening round, followed by Precision and Third Impact in the quarterfinals and semifinals, respectively.
It was Jerric "wiz" Jiang that led the way for RBG on Vertigo with 27 kills, a feat that was equalled by Josh "pwny" VanGorder on Overpass to power their team to the 2-0 sweep. Gabriel "tENSKI" Rodrigue was the leading man for Oceanus with 37 kills across two maps in the loss.
