Noxio and co. will be looking for new homes after a weak showing this season

ex-Villainous fold

After a poor showing in ECL, ex-Villainous have gone their separate ways.

Brody "BeaKie" Kelly has announced that ex-Villainous have elected to go their separate ways following the conclusion of their ESL Challenger Season 44 campaign on March 7th. The dissolution of the roster comes a week after Villainous parted ways with the lineup following the expiration of their contracts.

The demise of ex-Villainous follows a fairly dismal season for the lineup, with the team's sole win coming against Limitless, a team that also struggled immensely in Season 44. Overall, ex-Villainous ended their season with a 2-5 record thanks to their forfeit win over Disconnected, the same record the team held in Season 43.

As elaborated on by BeaKie in a separate tweet, ex-Villainous have no plans to contest ECL Relegation in any form as multiple members of the roster are unavailable during that period.

ex-Villainous were:

  • Cory "shutout" Frymark

  • Canada Brody "BeaKie" Kelly

  • Alvin "Alvin" Bui

  • Canada Gabriel "tENSKI" Rodrigue

  • United States Sam "Noxio" Goodwin

  • United States Mark "CooperTrooper" Cooper (Coach)
