Best women's Brazilian player officially signed to Asian team

A transfer saga over the last 48 hours has officially unfolded.

Earlier this week, Olga "Olga" Rodrigues was reported to leave FURIA fe. Voted HLTV's #2 Women's Player of 2022, Olga commands a large amount of firepower, so questions arose around her rumored departure from Brazil's best women's team.

This afternoon, HSG fe has officially announced the arrival of the superstar Impact player with significant fanfare.

HSG fe are no slouches in the women's scene, making a semifinal appearance in ESL Impact Season 2 Finals and finishing in 5-6th at ESL Impact Katowice 2023. However, it is a bit of a strange move considering that FURIA fe finished above HSG fe in both of those events.

HSG fe is notable for being the only women's team to compete at an RMR Closed Qualifier. Olga will be replacing This move came at an inopportune time for the Brazilian side, as FURIA fe started their ESL Impact League Season 3 South America campaign today. They are electing to use Gabriela "gabs" Freindorfer in Olga's stead, for now at least.
