oNe will not be playing in BLAST

oNe out of BLAST qualifier

In a quiet replacement, the Brazilians are no longer playing.

With the first matches of the Ace North American Masters Spring 2023 starting this afternoon, Liga Ace Esports announced the invited teams for the competition, with oNe seemingly left out and Erik "fl0m" Flom's Mythic joining the fray with little explanation.

According to Dust2 Brasil, who were able to speak with oNe, the Brazilians have withdrawn from the tournament as they are in Poland conducting a bootcamp at the Kinguin facilities in Warsaw.

The BLAST Premier Spring Americas Showdown already has a star-studded cast of teams which include Complexity, Team Liquid, and Evil Geniuses alongside FURIA, MIBR, and paiN. The teams await the winner of the Ace North American Masters Spring 2023 before they begin play March 29th through April 2, before most of these teams head to Mexico for the BLAST.tv Paris Major Americas RMR later that week.

Mythic are gifted an opportunity to get into the Ace North American Masters Spring 2023 after losing out in the open qualifier to eventual qualifiers yur. When asked how he felt about participating in the event, fl0m said:

Mythic will be forfeiting if Counter-Strike2 drops during any point during the tournament.

For the sake of the competition and for fans wanting to see Mythic make an improbable run to the Showdown, let's hope that does not happen.

The competition is set to begin later today and run through March 12th with the following teams;

United States Detonate
United States Limitless
United States Mythic
United States Tsunami

United States Nouns
United States Strife
United States timbermen
United States yur
