Impact reveal invited teams for Katowice

IEM Katowice is coming closer and closer as ESL have announced the four invited teams for their upcoming kick-off event in Poland. After clarifying yesterday that all Russians would be allowed to enter Poland, it assuaged fears that players from both men's teams like Cloud9, Spirit, and Outsiders and the women's Nigma Galaxy team would be prevented from playing.

As it happens, the dominant Nigma Galaxy would be the European-invited team with CLG Red from North America, FURIA from South America, and HSG from Asia joining them. Nigma Galaxy has been the most dominant team in the Impact League so far after sweeping all major LAN events in 2021, while the Americans uncharacteristically stumbled in the year's closing LAN.
