Liquid release analyst

After six months, Liquid have parted ways with their American analyst.

Liquid have announced that they are parting ways with their American analyst Hunter "Lucid" Tucker. This marks the end of his six-month tenure with NA's largest organization, joining Liquid shortly after the demise of Damian "daps" Steele's Orgless project.

Liquid's decision to part ways with Lucid follows a fairly disappointing Major run for the squad in Rio, with the team failing to make playoffs after losses to MOUZ, Heroic, and Spirit in the Legends Stage. With the Rio Major having a fairly weak field in the Champions Stage, a failure to make a deep run is a serious blunder for a squad looking strong since adding Mareks "YEKINDAR" Galinskis to the lineup.

Lucid told Dust2.us that this change is tied to Liquid's 2023 strategy which will see the team dedicate more resources to sports psychology and data analytics within the CS:GO team. He also stressed that he is looking for a position heading into next year.

Liquid are now:

  • United States Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski

  • Canada Keith "NAF" Markovic

  • United States Josh "oSee" Ohm

  • United States Nick "nitr0" Cannella

  • Mareks "YEKINDAR" Galinskis

  • Canada Damian "daps" Steele (Coach)

Liquid will be heading to the Blast Premier Fall Finals next week, with the team set to match up against G2 in the opening series.
