Liquid sign former FunPlus Phoenix Analyst

Lucid will have a new level of expectations thrust upon him in his most high-profile role to date.

Liquid have announced the hiring of former Orgless coach and FunPlus Phoenix analyst, Hunter "Lucid" Tucker, to their squad. In his most prestigious role to date, Lucid will be helping North America's undisputed number one squad as they prepare for PGL Major Antwerp 2022 and beyond.

Following Orgless' failure to qualify to the PGL Major Antwerp Americas RMR, Lucid announced his departure from the now-defunct team. In his TwitLonger on the matter, Lucid said that financial issues and pressure from his parents drove him to leave the team and focus on real-life concerns while still looking for paid opportunities in CS:GO.

Lucid told Dust2.us that he made contact with Liquid after Joshua "oSee" Ohm helped him reach out to Eric "adreN" Hoag and Steve "jokasteve" Perino who were on the lookout for a new analyst following the departure of Juan "Hepa" Borges at the end of last year. Lucid says the team has been a natural fit so far and it has largely resolved the financial and educational pressures in his life.

Liquid are now:

  • United States Jonathan "ELiGE" Jablonowski

  • Canada Keith "NAF" Markovic

  • United States Joshua "oSee" Ohm

  • Richard "shox" Papillon

  • United States Nicholas "nitr0" Cannella

  • United States Eric "adreN" Hoag (Coach)

  • United States Hunter "Lucid" Tucker (Analyst)

Liquid are looking to clinch a spot in IEM Dallas 2022 when they face off against Complexity tomorrow at 02:30PM.
