EG change women’s team name
To continue their attempt to clear the air regarding the multi-team operation, Evil Geniuses have adopted a naming scheme for their women’s team that follows the same protocol as their other two non-primary lineups. Moving forward, the lineup formerly known as “EG fe” will be regarded as EG Gold.
The color coordination follows suit from the organization’s decision in September to change the names of the “EG.CD” and “EG.PA” lineups to EG Black and EG White, respectively. The women’s squad is the third to do the same under the moniker “Gold”.
The EG Gold lineup will make their first appearance under the new name on October 22nd for the second season of ESL Impact League North America, where they will compete for two available seats at the LAN finals.
