Danny's looking to grab this opportunity with both hands

cxzi jumps to Gaimin Gladiators

cxzi's ascendancy has unfortunately come at BHOP's expense.

Less than 24 hours after parting ways with Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly, Gaimin Gladiators have already settled on his replacement with the addition of Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk. While cxzi's addition to the team is an exciting prospect for Gaimin Gladiators, it unfortunately comes at the expense of BHOP. cxzi's departure from BHOP leaves the squad with only two out of the needed three players from last season, meaning they cannot hold their ESL Challenger League Spot.

With the team's future plans in shambles, Brett "brett" Rhein confirmed that BHOP has disbanded and the team are now seeking out individual options. Despite their short time together, the BHOP squad proved themselves quite capable and should hopefully not face too much difficulty in finding new homes.

Refocusing on Gaimin Gladiators, this updated squad should have little startup time as every player already has experience playing with cxzi. David "cynic" Polster and Brendan "Bwills" Williams have extensive experience playing with cxzi on Triumph, Positive Vibes Only, and Levitate. Additionally, Jeorge "jeorgesnorts" Endicott played with cxzi on Triumph for three months while Dominick "JazzPimp" Dimpfel was also briefly cxzi's teammate on ChocoCheck.

cxzi told Dust2.us that he will be taking over nosraC's spots on Gaimin Gladiators for the time being. He has previously experimented with being his team's primary AWPer, a role that will continue to be held by cynic on Gaimin Gladiators.

Gaimin Gladiators are now:

  • Dominick "JazzPimp" Dimpfel

  • Jeorge "jeorgesnorts" Endicott

  • David "cynic" Polster

  • Brendan "Bwills" Williams

  • Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk

  • Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen (Coach)

Gaimin Gladiators await the start of ESL Challenger League Season 42 on August 16th.
