Complexity continue to disappoint

Complexity crumbles to MIBR in their IEM Dallas opener

The young roster continues to look very shaky, losing to MIBR who are fielding a stand-in at this tournament.

Complexity have faltered in their opening match against MIBR, after a brutal 16-4 loss on Nuke. This loss is even more brutal considering MIBR's circumstances in the event, coming as a last-minute invite to replace Heroic, utilizing coach Bruno "BIT" Fukuda Lima in place of Breno "brnz4n" Poletto.

The North American side got off to a rough start on home soil, losing the opening three rounds on Nuke, with Ricky "floppy" Kemery and Johnny "JT" Theodosiou failing to convert a 2v2 post-plant on their first gun round. Justin "FaNg" Coakley would drag Complexity to a third-round win, as he secured an impressive 1v3 on the B bombsite. Despite MIBR's circumstances of attending the event last-minute with a stand-in, the team looked very comfortable on the CT side of Nuke. The dismal state of Complexity's first half can be summed up by the fact that BIT had more frags than all of Complexity apart from JT, who he was tied with on 10 frags, as the Brazilians went in at halftime with an 11-4 lead.

MIBR would continue their dominance going into the second half, taking their second pistol round and putting them within touching distance of match point. Complexity's woes would continue, with BIT beating out Paytyn "junior" Johnson and JT in the follow-up round with a 1v2 clutch. The closing rounds would follow the same disappointing pattern for Complexity, failing to pick up a CT-side round and losing 16-4
