Big Chillin to finish season with dvl

dvl has rekindled his long-term connection with Big Chillin as he has rejoined as a stand-in for the rest of the ESEA season.

Matt "dvl" Buechel has returned to his former roster as a stand-in for the remainder of the season as a result of the departure of Sean "Subarashii" Tuttle from the lineup on February 16. The lineup with dvl has played five games of ESEA Advanced Season 40 together thus far, with three wins and two losses. Overall, Big Chillin currently holds a 5-4 record at the time of writing.

The absence of dvl at the outset of this season was due to a rebuild around Michael "Munk" Klotz and Devin "Xzen" Barber, which came following the teams relegation from the previous season of ESEA Premier where they held a 1-7 record. Subarashii was one such player involved in the rebuilding process, however his tenure with the roster would last merely a month.

As was mentioned previously, dvl is no stranger to the Big Chillin brand, with his connection to the team dating as far back as 2019, where he played a part in the team's promotion from ESEA Main to Advanced in Season 32. This move also comes with a sense of deja vu, as dvl joined Big Chillin as a stand-in during ESEA Premier Season 39 while they held a 1-4 record.

Big Chillin will field the following roster for the remainder of the season:

  • United States Devin "Xzen" Barber

  • United States Michael "Munk" Klotz

  • United States Johnny "JDubs" Wu

  • United States Hunter "Retnuh" Holm

  • United States Matt "dvl "Buechel (Stand-in)

  • United States William "Aphotic" DeVoe (Coach)
