SHIFT enter CS:GO with new roster

1kyle will be looking to make ESL Challenger League after six seasons in Advanced.

Newly established organization, SHIFT, have announced the signing of their new roster ahead of ESEA Advanced Season 40.

Matthew "Livid" Surma and Kyle "1kyle" Kaiser formed part of the previous iteration of the Kinship roster that managed to achieve a 6th place showing in ESEA Advanced Season 39, narrowly missing out on participating in ESEA Premier Relegation after losing to Brazen in the 5th place decider.

Ethan "Ethex" Eihardt links up with the organization after spending the past three seasons in ESEA Advanced as a part of Factor while Garrett "Smokey" Warren makes the switch after recently being on Unjustified's books, helping the squad to a 8-6 regular season record during ESEA Advanced Season 39. Meanwhile, Samuel "sarvity" Gillespie was previously a member of the Rectify roster which secured a first-place finish in ESEA Main Season 39 before being signed to SHIFT's new lineup.

SHIFT were founded back in January by Aiden "AJ" Jones who was also a part of Limitless as an esports manager during its signing of ex-Eros. Before that, AJ launched Synthetic, whose roster was promoted to ESEA Premier Season 39 before the organization ultimately ceased operations. The remainder of the management Brian "B4cca" G also has a background in Rainbow Six Siege while SHIFT's new esports manager, Vincent "Vinnie" Caprio, is currently Head of Esports for Valkyrie.

SHIFT have the following roster:

  • Matthew "Livid" Surma

  • Kyle "1kyle" Kaiser

  • Samuel "sarvity" Gillespie

  • Garrett "Smokey" Warren

  • Ethan "Ethex" Eihardt

SHIFT have already made their debut in ESEA Advanced Season 40, where they were bested 16-8 at the hands of SKULLCRACKER. The core also participated in the most recent ESEA x Fragadelphia Cash Cup, albeit without sarvity, where they were sent home after losing to Vireo.pro in the second round.
