Rogue and compLexity to upper bracket final in London

The winner between Rogue and compLexity will advance to the Major qualifier.

The two semifinals from the playoffs of the Americas Minor have completed, with Rogue beating eUnited 2-1 and compLexity taking down NRG 2-1 as well. Both Rogue and compLexity move on to the upper bracket final while eUnited and NRG will battle for survival in the lower bracket final.

The first map of Rogue vs eUnited was Train, the pick of Skyler "Relyks" Weaver's team. It didn't pan out for eUnited however, as Rogue mounted a 15-0 first half through the monstrous play of Casper "cadiaN" Møller. eUnited denied the 16-0 by taking the first two rounds of the second half, but could manage no more than that and lost the first map 2-16.

eUnited answered back on map two, securing a 10-5 CT half on Overpass. Kaleb "moose" Jayne led the way for his team, and eUnited managed to close out the second map farily easily 16-8 and force the third.

eUnited had a rough start on Inferno, only securing two rounds after the first three, and trailing 5-10 at the half. They mounted a solid comeback from the T side, but Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland and Rogue ended up grinding out the victory 16-12 and took the series 2-1.

The first map of the second semi kicked off with a strong Terrorist side by NRG, leading 8-7 at the half on Cache. With Ethan "nahtE" Arnold at the top of the scoreboard, NRG locked down their CT side, and closed out map one 16-8.

Train was very back and forth in the first half, with compLexity edging the lead 8-7 at halftime. NRG put up a strong T side, gaining a score of 14-9, but compLexity, with in-game leader Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz leading by example, came back and forced overtime. The underdog managed to steal it in overtime 19-17, and forced Inferno.

NRG kept in the game on Inferno and put up a 7-3 lead, but subsequently crumbled, and dropped 12 rounds in a row, eventually being down 7-15. The young Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker put up a large 1.48 rating in this game and helped compLexity to finish the upset and take down NRG 16-8 on Inferno and 2-1 in the series.
