ESEA S57 NA Finals reach top eight

The ESEA Season 57 North America Finals have reached the quarterfinals, where the teams from ESEA Advanced are now entering the competition after two rounds of play.

Two teams from Open 9-10; playing for fun featuring Mythic's Cooper "Trucklover86" and former Liquid coach Eric "adreN" Hoag and dice with Brett "brett" Rhein, have reached the quarterfinal stage. Those two sides had to punch up to make it this far, beating teams from Intermediate and Main in the first two rounds, respectively.

The two other teams that will join the Advanced sides in the quarterfinals are Detonate and Overtake Sector from the Main division.

The top four finishers from ESEA Advanced will be taking to the server from this point. Villainous and Chicken Coop finished in the top-two spots in Advanced, while Brahmas and Club 333 fought through the lower bracket to finish 3rd/4th.

From this point on, HLTV will be covering the event, meaning that there are VRS points on the line for the remaining teams. The quarterfinal matches are all slated for tonight at 08:30PM.
