FACEIT teams up with Google engineers to fight AI cheats: "One of FACEIT's biggest focuses in 2026"
According to a post by FACEIT's Director of Product for Integrity Amir Arshad, members of the platform's staff are collaborating with Google engineers in London to bolster their defense against cheaters, especially a new wave of "AI cheats".
The initial collaboration had two primary goals, according to Arshad: "Training models on past matches where our anti-cheat confirmed players cheated" and "Modelling what normal play looks like to flag behavior that sits outside it."
While these improvements might sound promising, Arshad says they cannot be implemented just yet. The FACEIT team will evidently continue working alongside Google's engineers with the intention of "running new behavioral analysis" and taking other steps to enact such improvements to the platform's anti-cheat.
