Zomblers return to full strength with Zoker, coaching additions
Last night, Zomblers announced three official additions to their roster. While Max "Zoker" Laping has been playing with Zomblers for a couple of events, he was not the official 5th member of the squad until now. The team showed great promise with him, making the top three of the most recent ECL NA Cup.
The organization has also added coaching staff. The head coach will be Australian Leroy "OrangeZ" Burns while Gabriel "Nightlie" Yamauchi will serve as the assistant coach.
Zoker's official addition to the lineup is a welcome one as it's been over a month since Ben "HAMBOOGA" Wetrich stepped down from the team. In his time as a stand-in, Zoker had some strong performances. In their quarterfinal match against InControl in the Thunderpick World Championship NA Series, he topped the server with a 1.72 rating overall and a monstrous 21-4 K/D on map one.
On the coaching side, OrangeZ is quite the surprising pickup as he has been plying his trade in the Oceania scene for a while. His most recent team was Arcade, who recently attend multiple ECL OCE Cups.
The starting lineup for Zomblers is now:
-
Connor "CoolComs" Barnes -
Andrew "CAJUN" Guidroz -
Nikolaos "Pose1doNN" Antoniou -
Colton "FxRE" Thrasher -
Max "Zoker" Laping -
Leroy "OrangeZ" Burns (Coach) -
Gabriel "Nightlie" Yamauchi (Assistant Coach)
