Passion UA bow out of Atlanta winless after 2-1 loss to SINNERS
Passion UA are the latest NA team to join the procession of NA teams exiting Atlanta winless as they have fallen in a 2-1 lower bracket loss to Eastern European side SINNERS.
The loss comes as PUA have had to contend with losing Azbayar "Senzu" Munkhbold two weeks before the event, adding further chaos into what has already been a chaotic season.
Passion UA started the series off on a strong footing, with the team playing a 6-6 T-side on Dust2 before putting up a great CT-side to lock down the map 13-8.
Moving into Mirage, Passion UA had another great start, climbing up to a 6-1 lead on their CT-side before slowing down considerably to narrowly take it 7-5. In the second half, SINNERS saw a chance for revenge after losing the first two, putting up a perfect CT-side to lock down Mirage 13-9.
With the series tied up, Passion UA were in bad sorts on their T-side on Overpass as they were unable to breach SINNERS' defenses, leading to the Czechs taking it 9-3. This created a difficult hill for Passion UA to climb, and despite their best efforts, Passion UA gave up the map 13-8, being knocked out of Atlanta as a result.
